How should i cancel the flight ticket after booking a ticket?

how should i cancel the flight ticket after booking a ticket ,please help me immediately i need it urgent

Easy.........call the airlines and say you want to cancel your ticket.........they will be happy to keep your money........caus your not getting any of it back.........if you did'nt purchase a fully refundable ticket or trip insurance your out.......they may give you a voucher minus a cancellation fee for a flight in the future........but no bucks...........sorry.........make sure your plans are solid or cover with full refundable or insurance next time......lesson learned...........

Answer 1 :
You can normally cancel by telephone if you phone the airline help desk, you will probably have to present the ticket in person if its not an e-ticket to get your money back.

Dont phone the agent it should be the airline.

Answer 2 :
You can cancel but you might have to pay a penalty

What options do i have if i have booked the flight ticket but then i cannot travel?

hello there, actually i booked my flight ticket by American Airlines on August 3rd but now i really can't go on that date so can anyone plz tell me what choices do i have. Thank You

Answerer 1

If you bought a refundable ticket, you can get a refund. These tickets are typically more expensive, though, so if you boguht the cheapest ticket available, you likely bought a nonrefundable fare.

Your likeliest option is to call AA, cancel the ticket, and then retain the value of the ticket (less the applicable change fee) to apply to another ticket in the future. You may also be able to call and change the dates (upon payment of the applicable change fee) if you can still go, but on different dates. Either way, it's going to take a phone call to AA to have them tell you your specific options and the costs involved.

Refundable ticket? get it refunded

Nonrefundable ticket?

Will you be going on the same trip later, or another trip on AA? change it and pay change fee

Is your trip completely cancelled? Maybe refund with penalties, or maybe you can at least get the tax back

If I don't have a return flight ticket, is it a problem at the airport?

I am a Korean citizen who is about to visit Canada for tourism. Korean citizens are allowed to stay in Canada for up to three months without a visa. But my flight ticket is one-way. At the airport, will the securities ask me why I don't have a return flight ticket? Can I just answer them that I will purchase them later?

Answer 1 :
I flew up to visit my father who was in the hospital, and returned with my husband, who drove up later. I had a one-way ticket, and was screened very thoroughly - pat down, metal hand wand, and hand search of all carry on bags. Another time I flew with a one-way ticket, we reversed the process. I drove with family to visit, and flew home after a prolonged stay. I was again screened thoroughly, patted down, and my purse and carry on were opened and searched by hand. I was a 50 year-old English teacher complete with a 10-year-old child on one of the trips, and still singled out. I don't think your ethnicity is the issue, but your one-way ticket may well be.

I don't know about the one-way ticket when you travel on a visa. My own travel was purely domestic. Call the airline or airport and ASK in advance so that you are properly prepared. When people come unprepared to the airport, it just slows everyone down.

Answer 2 :
Yes, they are going to wonder why you don't have a return ticket. Why don't you?

You may not even get on the plane, since if you get turned back by Canadian immigration (very possible), the airline may have to pay a penalty. In particular, you need to convince the Canadian authorities that you intend to leave at the end of your trip, and this is a lot harder if you don't have a return ticket.

Have you done much international travel?

Answer 3 :
Well I do think that you will be questioned. If you have had made previous attempts to immigrate to Canada but has been rejectedm you may not be granted permission to enter Canadian grounds.
